rogers family | mesa, az family portrait photographer

This was a fun, fast paced, and energetic shoot, and one GORGEOUS family, this year, that made me work HARD for my money. And I love what we captured, even if we all walked away with several mosquito bites, and Cami felt like she ran a marathon. I sure love a good challenge. So worth it, to read her review after choosing her images from her proofs: “THAT WAS SO HARD!!!! I ended up with 2 extra. They were amazing and probably the best pictures we have ever had taken! Seriously! You’re amazing!!!”…of course that made me smile! This family has the coolest names too! The youngest son’s name is BRAVE! How cool is that?! I hope to see them every year now and watch them grow for sure. Thank you for a fabulous session! xo…e p.s. it’s just NOT fair to look that young and amazing after having 5 kids.

lauren & adam | gilbert temple/ocotillo golf resort wedding | may 3rd 2014

lauren and adam wed back on May 3rd, 2014 in the gilbert az lds temple. their ring ceremony and reception were held at the ocotillo golf resort in chandler az it was a beautiful day! I’m thrilled I was able to photograph such a beautiful couple. a quote I shall never forget, that Adam said to me, before the cake cutting. “Studies show, Elle, that those who smash their cake on their wedding day, end in divorce. I don’t want to lose Lauren, so I won’t be smashing the cake!” Adam put me in my place that night,as I may or may not have been known to “egg on” a little cake smashing in my day. I don’t do this anymore and let them decide. (I secretly still love to photograph the cake smashing, but if the studies are correct, I don’t know that I will be “egging” those on anymore.) I certainly desire my couples to last forever. It was the sweetest thing I ever heard a groom say. Thanks Adam! xo..elleto view their pre-wedding day bridals click here!flowers by the amazing Ellen Fukumoto
